Paddy has a passion for detail and a thirst for knowledge. He found his existence as an endurance athlete and Coach, having spent much of his youth playing team sports. Since first qualifying as a Personal Trainer, he has gone on to gain accreditations as a Strength & Running Coach. He Coaches an array of amateur endurance athletes across Junior, Senior and Masters age groups, across a range of distances from 800 meters on the track up to ultra marathon distances on trails and mountains all achieving their own successes from finishing their first Park Run, to winning road and trail races.

As well as endurance athletes, Paddy Coaches a number of team sport athletes helping them develop strength and performance in their chosen sport. He is passionate in supporting young athletes with their journey, helping them develop a disciplined, focused and fun attitude towards their goals. Many of these young athletes have gone on to achieve success at the highest level of competition on the track and on the pitch.

Being calm and patient are amongst his strongest attributes. He immerses himself fully into his athletes journey ensuring they have his full support through the highs and the lows, standing alongside them to ensure they are well prepared and ready to take on the challenges ahead.

Paddy is a successful endurance athlete himself, having achieved accolades on the roads and trails. Now part of Team Accelerate, Sheffield he continues to develop his own athletic ability, striving for continued growth and future success.

He believes your story doesn’t end because you get older, it just evolves and matures with the emergence of new purpose and adventures.

Coming from a team sport background means Paddy has a strong team ethic. Surrounding yourself with the right people in the right environment, working together as one making everyone better is the driving force of success. Endurance sports and training can be a lonely place and so bringing people together is an important part of what he does.

His words to live by are: ‘It’s not who you are, but what you do that defines you!’
